Specfurn is proud to announce its’ partnership with Queensland Police Service and Brisbane-based architects to complete a multi-million dollar fitout at the new state of the art Queensland Police Headquarters on George Street in Brisbane CBD. Being the largest Operational Station in the state, it is home to numerous Specialist Teams within the Policing Region including Tactical Crime quad, Road Policing Unit, Education and Training, Weapons Licensing, Criminal Investigation Branch and Child Protection Unit.
The project covered an extensive nine floors each with a substantial office fitout which included sit to stand electric desks, Australian manufactured task chairs, Metal storage and custom joinery which was all supplied and installed by Specfurn. Our full time Project Manager worked tirelessly with all stakeholders to ensure that installations were delivered within a tight time frame while running multiple floors consecutively- all the while still servicing the requirements of our other clients.
